Is my YouTube channel my channel?

User, you don’t really have control on your stuff on the Internet. Last night I suddenly found that my genius user description had disappeared from my channel page. Shocked! It took me 20 minutes or so to figure out what’s going on. In the end, I found no answer to this mystery. And before, the user description could hide or show, all by its own will. Now it disappeared without giving me any notice in advance. Well, I should have got used to such uncontrollable changes in the virtual space. For instance, one day the stars my videos got suddenly turned into thumbs and left me all dumbfounded. Just imagine seeing dull thumbs instead of stars in the sky! Conclusion: Nothing is ever safe on the Internet, and it’s always safer to save a copy of everything you treasure there.
